Infectious diseases are a group of diseases that are caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites.

common examples are typhoid fever, pneumonia, etc.

Typhoid fever is an acute infectious disease, caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. Symptoms are usually severe enough to necessitate hospitalization and can include high fever, diarrhea, nausea, headache, splenomegaly (enlargement of the spleen), abdominal pain, delirium, and rash.

Bacterial Pneumonia is a type of respiratory infection, caused by the bacteria such as Streptococcus Pneumoniae.

Allergy

An allergy is a hypersensitivity to a substance that does not usually produce such an effect. Common allergens include pollen, dust mites, various kinds of seafood, antibiotics, etc. The immune system is activated by the allergen to produce a reaction that causes inflammation in the body's tissues, including skin, bronchial tubes, and intestines.

Asthma & COPD

Asthma is a respiratory condition in which the airways are narrowed, leading to breathing difficulties. It is common in children and can be triggered by allergies or other environmental factors. Common symptoms include wheezing, coughing, tightness in the chest, and difficulty breathing. The most effective treatment for asthma is preventative inhaler medication.

COPD is a chronic lung disease that causes the airways to become narrowed with repeated respiratory infections or exposure to noxious materials like tobacco smoking.

Arthritis

Arthritis can be defined as a chronic and progressive inflammatory disease that causes pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints. Current treatment options for arthritis include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), selective COX-2 inhibitors, physical therapy, weight control, and surgical interventions. The severity of arthritis is determined by the number of joints affected as well as how many times a person experiences self-reported "good" or "bad" days.

Gastritis

Gastritis is an inflammatory condition of the stomach lining. It can cause pain, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Gastritis is characterized by gastric inflammation due to acid-pepsin oversecretion and the consequent irreversible erosion of gastric mucosa.

IBS

Irritable bowel syndrome is a chronic condition characterized by abdominal pain, irritable bowel movements, and bloating. It is also often accompanied by anxiety, depression, fatigue, and mouth ulcers. This condition can vary in severity and can begin at any time during the life cycle; however, it commonly starts around 20-30 years of age. The symptoms of IBS are persistent and chronic; this means that they come back again after the symptoms subside for a day or two.

Fatty liver

An individual with a fatty liver may have an accumulation of fat cells in the liver. This is most often seen in people who are overweight or obese, but it can also happen to those who are not. A fatty liver can be caused by having too much alcohol, not enough exercise, or an improper diet. It doesn't usually cause any symptoms unless it gets worse and leads to cirrhosis, where destruction of the liver tissue might result.

High Blood Pressure

Hypertension also called high blood pressure, is defined as elevated blood pressure that is persistent and sustained. It is also called primary hypertension or essential hypertension. This is the most common type of hypertension where the cause of raised blood pressure is unknown.

High Cholesterol & Triglycerides

Cholesterol is a sterol found in the body. It is synthesized by the liver, but can also be found in animal-based foods. Dietary cholesterol can either be HDL or LDL depending on what it is formulated from. The liver uses both types of cholesterol to produce bile acids, steroid hormones, brain cells, and vitamin D. High levels of LDL cholesterol are correlated with an increased risk for heart disease and stroke because they become oxidized over time.
